SRA event - route of appeal for disputing practising fees Two solicitor focus groups are being held by the SRA on 9th March at the Law Society's offices on Chancery Lane.
The focus groups are to discuss with solicitors the route of appeal that should be available for practitioners that want to appeal their practising certificate fee, or those that are unable to pay it, when the new fee policy is introduced later this year. The SRA are particularly interested in talking to sole practitioners about this, in order to make sure they set the right criteria for the types of practitioner that would be eligible to appeal the level of their practising fee. The first focus group will be 12:30pm - 13:30pm with lunch provided, and the second will be 17:30pm to 18:30pm with drinks and snacks provided. We are asking anyone interested in coming contact Richard Silver at the SRA: Tel: 01926 439749 Email: richard.silver@sra.org.uk |
