Shocked Hi Everyone!

I'm so glad I have found this forum! I am in a similar position to most people here...I was made redundant and am now considering setting up on my own specialising in Family Law and Wills and Probate. I am in the initial stages of the process, drafting my business plan, doing some research and generally wondering whether this is madness or a mid life crisis!
I would be grateful for some words of wisdom as I have read some of the posts and people have been very supportive to newbies. I am based in Lancashire and have been qualified since 2002 although have only practised for 4 years.
Regards
Aisha Confused

Hi Aisha

I am unable to give you any words of wisdom as I'm still in process of setting up but I'm happy for you to email me to discuss!

Hi ClareK

What area of law are you thinking of setting up in and how far have you progressed? It would be great to share ideas and support each other! I am still trying to complete my business plan, but I've been quite put off by all the comments about how difficult it is to obtain PII... Have you come across the same type of thing? Smile

Hi Aisha

I'm planning to do litigation.

What's your email address? I don't want to share everything I've done on here in case I end up helping someone who's looking to compete with me!!
